NEW PREMIER LEAGUE RIGHTS IN SUB-SAHARIAN AFRICA

The Premier League, the most popular and emblematic national championship with its stars, its mythical clubs and exciting derbies, will remain on CANAL+ in sub-Saharan Africa for three more seasons starting with the 2022/2023 season.

CANAL+ Group is pleased to have renewed a broadcasting agreement for the rights of the Premier League for the next three seasons in sub-Saharan Africa, including exclusive French language Pay-TV rights in French-speaking territories of the region. This agreement covers all 380 matches per season of the championship.

The matches will be broadcast on CANAL+ SPORT channels, as well as on the CANAL+ app, commented by the greatest CANAL+’s football experts.

Starting this Friday, August 5 at 19:00 GMT, Premier League fans in sub-Saharan Africa will be able to watch the first game of the season between Crystal Palace and Arsenal on CANAL+ SPORT 3.

With this agreement, CANAL+ Group is proud to broadcast the Premier League Championship in more than 50 territories over the next three seasons, including France, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Vietnam and Haiti.
